Life Assessment and
The Wheel of Life
(By Darren Hardy and adapted from a concept employed by Paul J. Meyer and Success Motivation International, Inc.)
Fill out the Life Assessment Form and enter your scores onto the Wheel of Life to see how balanced your life is. You may be a financial wizard or a gifted athlete, but if your lifestyle is dull or your relationships are being neglected you may need to adjust your priorities.
1. Under "File," click on the "Download As" tab and download as an Excel document.
2. Using your own document, rate each answer on a scale of 1 to 5 and type the number in the appropriate column (with 1 being least true and 5 being most true). Your total score will automatically be calculated in the turquoise box.
3. Scroll down to view your results in a graph that measures your wealth in each category.
Mark your total score from each Life Assessment category on the Wheel of Life. (Use the same score for both Relationships and Family.)
0-5 points: 1 notch
6-10 points: 2 notches
11-15 points: 3 notches
16-20 points: 4 notches
21-25 points: 5 notches
26-30 points: 6 notches
31-35 points: 7 notches
36-40 points: 8 notches
41-45 points: 9 notches
46-50 points: 10 notches
Connect the dots all of the way around the wheel. If there are flat spots or uneven areas you'll better see why your life doesn't seem to "roll" as smoothly as it could. It will also identify some areas you might want to consider improving for 2015. For more information on living your best year, we recommend Darren Hardy's Living Your Best Year!
