Big Picture?

It amazes me how often people get lost in daily tactics, trapped in the details distracted from the bigger picture. We seek gratification in checking off the "to-dos," regardless if it helps us move from A to B. Sometimes we even convince ourselves that the task is more important than the mission.

I believe this happens most often when we are stressed, afraid, and/or lack vision. So, since stress and fear are part of life, I know I need vision. It is my big picture that helps me stay the course, gives me direction when I'm overwhelmed, and supports me when I'm feeling less confident.

Whether you're thinking about a marketing plan or your life goals, visiting them weekly or even daily can be the difference in reaching them and what gets tracked gets done.

When we are working with clients and are approached with a threat such as a PR crisis, or an opportunity such as a new market to pursue, or even a problem that seems to require immediate resolution, our strength is referring to their business plan, their brand story, their unique selling points, and their marketing plan, or even our agreement. This reminds us to focus on the right tasks at the right time to drive our clients and ourselves onward and upward in the "big picture."

For example, Nike's mission:
*If you have a body, you are an athlete.

Don't have a mission or your next 5 bold steps?  We can help.
